Hiked shortly after a heavy rain. Leaves fall color side up or vein side up (back). The rain glistens in a sheen on the right side and pools into drops on the back side. #todayshike
@gemswinc About an hour in total, community park lot full but the process went very smoothly and efficiently.

Never do today what is better for tomorrow, that’s what I say.
The falling leaves haven’t yet peaked, many more still on the trees. Saving the pile until there’s more, especially since it’s already too warm out to be getting into it now. Tomorrow or Monday will be much cooler, and with another round of raking there will be a bigger pile to drag on a tarp into the back yard where they can continue their intended purpose of sheltering critters (especially caterpillars) through the winter.
THis will be my only #politics post today. But until there is a national right to #abortion States will find ways to track and punish those seeking pregnancy related emergency care
they have the means to track people who travel out of state to abortion centers
And a Trump government would use the Comstock act to help enforce state Abortion bans
