Why can't I post?

Several times recently I've tried to share links to articles I've curated from sites like BBC News and The Guardian. The latest is from Slashdot. All are under the character-length limit, none contain or refer to any dubious content.

I"m logged in and yet I click POST! and the edit box dims for a second then comes back with the text intact and nothing is posted.

Am I doing something wrong?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) research company OpenAI on Wednesday announced ChatGPT, a prototype dialogue-based AI chatbot capable of understanding natural language and responding in natural language... It has since taken the internet by storm, with people marvelling at how intelligent the AI-powered bot sounds.
