Did my good deed for the day quite by happenstance. UPS driver was about to leave a small parcel at a vacant unit until I told him nobody lived there. I asked who the delivery was for. It's the resident manager, so I pointed him in the proper direction.
I was raised to strive to be a good neighbor. Certainly not into earning "brownie points". There was a time when general decency was the norm, rather than the exception. Not virtue signaling; doing my part to preserve a worthwhile practice.
