This evening I had the rare privilege to attend a dear friend's recovery celebration - 37 years clean. Longevity like this is admirable, although the newcomer is, ideally, the most important person at a meeting. All any of us can claim with any certainly is today, this moment, right now. Each individual day free from the nightmare of active addiction is a gift. And if nobody's told you lately, You are a miracle, and You are deeply loved. 💖
