That sounds interesting maybe i have to look into it. I understand that she took probably a lower dosage so that you can still feel.
@Spagesgallo1
I will seek her out on the internet.
I must say i used to be an avid reader, but blame the internet of having such a bad tension arc.
I don´t even watch tv and movies i chop into 3 or four parts.
But so cool you got to meet her so i will definitly seek her out.
@freddyvandam I totally understand what you are saying! I was an avid reader as well and then boom, I just stopped. I have a ton of books that I had ordered last year. They are just sitting in a wicker basket next to my bed. As for watching TV and movies. I make it through one episode and then I pass out. So, I can totally relate to what you are saying. Yes, check her out. She is a very talented writer. Like I said, she's extremely humble. I really enjoyed her presentation.
@Spagesgallo1
Same still have many books collecting dust. So i stopped bying them and wait for my book thirst to return.
@freddyvandam Me too and it makes me very sad. But, like you, I am waiting for my thirst for reading to return. Especially this time of year, with the cold weather months being upon us. I used to love getting into bed to relax and read a good book! Hopefully our thirst for reading will return sometime soon!
@freddyvandam yes, I think that you would find her books very interesting. She does admit to taking the lower dose, so she could still feel. At the time, she was on lithium. I saw her in person at a conference. She was riveting. Such a brilliant woman!
