I follow George Takei on FB and the comments section for his posts is usually a dumpster fire. Now it's not. I know Russia just blocked facebook, but some of these posts are 2 days old, so I'm not sure if that's the reason.

@sheseala ever since the Russians started throttling access to Twitter and Facebook, the amount of right-wing noise on the internet has dropped precipitously. Many of the hate merchants have seen their likes, retweets, and shares go through the floor 🤔
