have started the gift bags. So far we have peanut butter cookies and I am making walnut thumbprint with lemon persimmon jam

I mean yeah I now have like 8 lil pieces I have to wash. But I was not achieving this with a fork

persimmons never really ripened so they got boiled with sugar and lemon, going on the walnut cookies

persimmon jam draining before it goes on cookies. thumbprints to fill didn’t really work out haha

Question: Do you put your grinder and parts into the freezer well before you use it, when you grind meat?

@fatslothslim I haven’t ever ground meat, but that sounds interesting…

I learned about forced meat while at Culinary School and its very important to "freeze" all the parts to keep fats from getting to soft and get all mushy and clogs up. it's another trick to do the same thing with freezing food processor parts, again, to keep fats from softening and the blade stops. it works well with all applications not just meats.
