This is John Cornyn after the Nashville shooting. There's nothing more we can do? Oh, yes there is. First, ban assault weapons. Next, expanded bacground checks. The reaction you're seeing from the GOP #HouseOfHorrors over the impending Trump indictment in New York is classic fascism. This is how fascist nations operate. Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg has become the target of slurs, threats and investigations as a result.
As for Trump himself, he has rallied his street thug minions and even managed to grift off the impending indictment, begging for dollars for his 2024 campaign.

It appears that some uninformed Democratic voters are under the impression that the Democrats do not have had a bill addressing legal protections for LGBT and trans Americans. They are wrong. It's called The Equality Act. It has been passed twice by the House, but never by the Senate (we need a 60-seat majority to override any inevitable GOP filibuster.
This is the Republican Party base. Because this is what the Republican Party has itself become, a lawless pack of domestic terrorists masquerading as legislators.
Democratic voters not voting in 2024 is NOT an option. We must remove as many members of the GOP as possible from BOTH chambers.
