I would LOVE to go solar, but every time I ask for bids, all the used car salesmen come out of the woodwork. It's really disappointing how low quality the salesmanship is.
Yes, I've used EnergySage - that's where most of the bad experience comes from. But local installers (who don't need to pay lead providers like ES) seem to be playing the same tune.

@f_gundersen guy pal has put all of ours up and it doesn’t take long at all. We have our input put into batteries and run from inverters. Research outputs, make sure you get ones that work in lowlight with significant output.

@f_gundersen I've been in the energy industry 10 years and the utility industry for 20. I've successfully seen people do DYI. Like a lot of other things if you want it done right you have to do it yourself.
