So the tipping point in the GOP lifecycle seems to be - once incumbents are no longer in fear of being primaried - they speak their minds.

Now we just need to get those who are not retiring to have the courage to honor their oaths of office.

Although I'm a progressive, I do think we need a viable opposition party to keep spending habits in check.

Democracy isn't about getting your way at the expense of the other - it's about reaching a compromise solution.
