6 countries with temporary residence visas for U.S. citizens. Portugal sounds nice .
I just need a remote job that lets me work in Europe!
@evamarie In Europe check out Estonia. Offers digital citizenship with all the rights as actual citizens except for voting. Estonia is great for remote jobs as they lead in tech sector.
@evamarie
Europe sounds nicer than here.
Oh, yes! Itโs my โbreak glass in case of emergency โ plan.
Yeah, likewise.

Have several friends who moved to Portugal. They love it.
@evamarie oddly, had perused b4, myself. One of a few places I looked at for possible grad study.
Really? Iโve been thinking about living abroad since 2016.
@evamarie yeah, just something about the place (among a few others). I think it
has Europeโs oldest university for one, which is kind of interesting. Plus, port rocks, and Spain with the Riojas are nearby. Tho, I donโt hit it too hard these days. ๐
@chaddus2_0 @evamarie in any case, would love to at least visit.
I would love to visit, too.
I think itโs easier to move to Portugal than Spain, although both sound great. I really want to visit because I donโt want to move anywhere sight unseen. Time to renew my passport.
I get the sense that a lot of people whose passports have expired are busy renewing right about now. ๐
@evamarie yeah, you might look into it.
@evamarie My wife and I are going back to the Philippinesโฆ, ๐
I am happy for you. I would love to make the move away from the U.S.
@evamarie actually quite a few more offer Digital Nomad visas for 'muricans!!!
