As I've said before ... I miss Dolores. 'Zombie' is my fave Cran song, but this one was always good, too.
Me, too. I adore Delores, such a unique voice. Miss her and Chris Cornell so much. So many great singers from the 90’s are gone.
And Zombie is their most powerful song.
I was not so much a fan of Chris on his own, but of course, I did like Soundgarden; he had a voice that was like Dolores' - unique, emotionally-driven, and very much worth listening to, at least to me. And many band / artists have covered 'Zombie'; there are really quite a few. Some covers of 'Black Hole Sun' as well. Imitation is the highest form of flattery.
Chris on his own did some incredible covers, though. For instance, his version of Billie Jean is incomparable:
