The wonderful hiking trail near my house with sweeping views of the Pacific is mobbed! I’m opting to check out Netflix, instead. How are you?
Don’t know for sure, yet. Just finished “The Queen’s Gambit” and it would be hard to top that show 😁
@evamarie I heard it was good.
It was brilliant. Highly recommended. The plot was basically about an orphan who fell in love with chess, and her quest to become a world champion. It’s a period piece set in the 50’s and 60’s. The acting, writing, costumes and sets were fantastic.
@evamarie I'd heard an interview done by Scott Simon on NPR discussing this movie, and the discussion was as you described.
The first episode had some pacing problems but it was smooth sailing afterwards.
@evamarie Good choice. Doing well here, thanks. I slept a long time, so well-rested. Cold outside, so indoors today. Overall, pretty good.
