@Desmblake Yes. Amongst other things - the fires were a factor. Deforestation, drought as well.

What it means is that without laws and proper effort to start massive captive breeding programs, they are extinct but don't know it yet.

The fate of the koalas is just sad beyond belief. Someone needs to step in immediately to start a captive breeding program. 💔
