Moderna Melanoma Vaccine Cuts Death Rate in Half https://www.reuters.com/business/healthcare-pharmaceuticals/benefits-moderna-merck-melanoma-vaccine-plus-keytruda-extend-three-years-2023-12-14/
My impression that "a vaccine to prevent cancer" is something like "a food that's good for mammals".

The notion of taking a vaccine after diagnosis of stage III or IV disease, and then that vaccine cutting down the risk of death or recurrence almost in half is still boggling my mind.
It makes me wonder about the development of vaccines to simply prevent cancer.
