The Telephone Robocall Abuse Criminal Enforcement and Deterrence Act gives the FCC the power to do several things, including mandating that service providers implement measures to authenticate their callers, better police their customers, and put their robocall mitigation efforts in the FCC’s new Robocall Mitigation Database. vox.com/recode/22882647/roboca

Every call is a robocall. I don't ever pick up a phone call.
My people know to send text/email and we can talk. Or of course there's video calls.
Totally fine with this, very efficient and effective at eliminating bs.

Funny aside: My car warranty WAS extended; I didn't have to do anything, got a registered letter.

I'm lucky, I've set my iPhone to ignore calls from ANYONE who isn't in my contacts already. They can leave a voicemail.

My phone hardly ever rings. And I do the same with text messages.
