For the first time, archaeologists have created a complete map of a buried Roman city using advanced ground penetrating radar. The technology allows researchers to ‘see through’ ground. By looking at different depths, they can study how the town evolved. This could revolutionise our understanding of Roman settlements, typically hard to study as they are hidden under modern buildings. https://www.alphagalileo.org/en-gb/Item-Display/ItemId/193656?returnurl=https://www.alphagalileo.org/en-gb/Item-Display/ItemId/193656
