@XSGeek I'd say... not there yet. But it is getting more popular with 23&me type things, where they map your genes for cancer etc...
It is just... not quite there yet, to actually benefit the ones who do need it. Rare diseases are more and more mapped, and the numbers for mutation forms are rising.
@XSGeek I've had my genomics done. My daughter, her genetics. In both cases, a reasonable and prudent health decision. What troubles me here is that the author suggests doing this for the purpose of finding a worthy mate. We're screwed.
