Probably the dumbest thing about Republicans is that they refuse to understand that immigrants don't steal their jobs, corporate decisionmakers do. By blaming job losses on immigrants (and by extension "liberal policies"), dark money-backed disinformation platforms like Fox News and Breitbart reveal that they have no concern at all for cultural harmony, that their main concern is diverting attention away from the morbidly wealthy ghouls who cause all the problems.
@SaltyVeruca - I think there'll definitely be chatter about violence at the polls next year, if that's what you mean, absolutely.
@esaeger Corporations steal American jobs by outsourcing nearly all manufacturing jobs to other countries for the cheap labor and materials so they can jack up their executive's bonuses and increase their shareholders stock value. Immigrants are not taking American jobs, heck if they wait long enough a US Corporation will probably open up a plant in their area and they won't even need to come here.
@Embers - It'll be interesting to see if all the chatter about rebooting the US's manufacturing sector leads to something. I'm sure the BRICS situation is freaking out our pols now.
@esaeger Well China and India have benefited hugely from American companies outsourcing so much manufacturing to them. We definitely need to bring manufacturing, and other frequently outsourced positions, back to the US and stop feeding their sense of economic certainty.

@esaeger I could be wrong but I think they understand it perfectly but are capitalizing on potential voter fear in order to win. Sheer logic says immigrants aren’t waltzing in taking white collar jobs but the ones most people don’t “want” due to conditions m, lack of benefits, and low pay. They’re not playing with logic.
