After the disappointment I gave to my bestie @researchbuzz with that Irisbus Proxys here is a #CoSoBuses post to put a fix to it. In the pic there is the Menarinibus Citymood 12 LNG Class II (interurban) nΒ°4751 of SETA Modena leaving the Modena bus station and heading to Maranello on the extraurban line 820

@researchbuzz I made a mistake with the caption, the bus in the pic is actually heading to Vignola on the line 731. I didn't delete and redraft it because your like and comment would have been orphaned.
@researchbuzz Here are the essential technical data of this bus.
Engine: FPT Cursor 9 NG (6 cylinder, 8710 cmΒ³, 264 kW/359 PS, Euro 6d)
Transmission: 6-speed automatic ZF Ecolife 6AP1720B
@elleci42a How is that engine compared to average? The bus looked a little bigger than some of the others you've sent me.
@researchbuzz For your reference the predecessor of FPT Cursor 9 NG engine (FPT Cursor 8 NG) had a displacement of 7790 cmΒ³ so it has subverted the tendency of engines downsizing
@elleci42a Oh yeah that's a LOT bigger, isn't it?
@researchbuzz Yeah and the power output increased too considering that there are different powerr levels. The 359 PS version of the Cursor 9 NG engine is the most powerful and saw an increase of +29 PS compared to the most powerful version of the Cursor 8 NG engine.
@researchbuzz The particularity of the Menarinibus Citymood Class II is that is offered in two different lengths (12 metres or 18 metres articulated) but only the LNG engine. In a few words the Citymood Class II isn't offered with a traditional Diesel engine
@elleci42a That seems unusual. I thought diesel engines would be more standard on buses.
@researchbuzz Yeah, that's a unexpected choice
@elleci42a THERE WE GO! You're not going to miss THAT going down the road, as my Granny says.
