G'day in music with this masterpiece that puts togetther the guitars of Al Di Meola and the keyboards of Jan Hammer

Al Di Meola - Sequencer (Dub Sequence)

@elleci42a Wow. That was a RIDE.

Half the time it reminded me of something you might hear on Frank Zappa's album JAZZ FROM HELL, and the other half the time it sounded like Miami Vice background music!

@researchbuzz As you may know the Miami Vice theme was composed by Jan Hammer itself, that's why you had those Miami Vice vibes

@elleci42a And it would just kind of drift in and out! It wasn't just one part of the song!

@researchbuzz 😌. There is a bit of Australia too in this tune: the synthesizer played by Jan Hammer is a Fairlight CMI

@researchbuzz A little, I always watch on YouTube videos where demos or covers of real songs are played with them

@elleci42a Do you know the man who plays piano and rescues cats? He does videos of his piano playing where the cats "help." It's adorable. (His music is probably a bit too slow for you though!)

@researchbuzz I didn't knew him before, this short was so wholesome ❀️. Don't fret about the fact his music is slow, I like all kinds of music

@elleci42a I think my favorite piano player is probably Professor Longhair. He was a musician in New Orleans, and he can really make a piano get up and GO.
