of Italy for you in this toot. In the pic there is a BredaMenariniBus Monocar 231 CU CNG. It mounts an Euro 5 EEV Mercedes-Benz M906 LAG (6 cylinders, 6883 cm³/420 cu in, 170 kW/231 PS) engine and a 4-speed ZF Ecomat 4HP590 automatic transmission

@elleci42a I love how close your buses are to the ground - it's easy to step on board if you're an older adult. The last time I was on a bus it had steps...

@researchbuzz Oh my, in Italy the modern urban buses like this Monocar 231 are all like this. The first Italian bus model ever with no steps has been the Iveco CityClass 491 (1996-2008, in 2002 it became the Irisbus CityClass 491E). In the pic the Irisbus CityClass CNG 491E.12.27 n°717 of Trentino Trasporti in service on the line 15 of the Trento urban buses network

@elleci42a Buses here might look like that now, but I haven't had occasion to be on a bus in about 30 years.

I love mass transit and think it's a great idea. Unfortunately our city has gotten much larger over the past decades but all bus traffic goes through downtown, and downtown is 45 minutes from here by bus!
