1. I started a new #knitting project last night and I'm learning how to do the herringbone stitch - I love it
2. we're making plans to have some friends over this weekend for dinner and board games
3. the #crochet valance for the cat suite is coming along nicely; the yarn is striping in a very lovely way (pic to come later)

The Sorceress Scarf - the knit/crochet guild I belong to is doing it as a KAL. This pattern is really nice - it's got great pictures of how to create the stitches.
@ekg1976 Been meaning to hunt up a pattern that uses the herringbone stitch, it looks so freaking cool.
