#ThreeGoodThings
1. I had a long holiday weekend that was super productive, and now thanks to a conference on Th/Fri I have a really short work week
2. I took down a stuffy looking cornice board in my office and put up a simple black rod with ring/hooks and used an old #crochet table runner for a valance (I have ideas for covering where the brackets are)
3. I'm about 1/2 way done reading "A Wrinkle in Time" again and loving it every bit as much as when I was a kid
@fugitive247 I probably did when I was younger. It's really nice, this edition has a whole list of her books that are part of this "universe" along with a chart of the characters, like a family tree, and which books they appear in.

My daughter introduced me to Madeleine L’Engle when daughter was 10. I read that series with her at bedtime. Really opened my eyes to how cool my daughter was. We had great conversations over that series. Enjoy!

The table runner as a valance is genius. That looks great!
@TomeReader Thanks! My mom came across a box of random vintage doilies while she was cleaning out a closet and gave them to me.
@ekg1976 If you haven't also read "A Wind in the Door," you'll probably love that book, too. 🙂
