LOLOLOL.

New version of our platform released Friday. Today, customer says <new feature> seems to work, but <specific thing> doesn't work as expected.

Me & SE, to PM: "Uh, I didn't think <new feature> made it in to <new version>..."

PM: "It didn't."

... (20 minutes pass) ...

PM: "Oh, wait, looks like it did."

SE: "Good if we know the functionality before customer does..."

PM: "Even better if the PM knows!"

@ehurtley One time. That happened to me only one time. We had a dev that was so prolific (in the best possibly ways, I assure you), it was almost difficult to keep up with her. She assumed and checked in a feature at the last minute, and it slipped past QA (who was busy with all her other work). Someone in Support caught it the following day and realized it wasn't in the release notes. We had to hurry up a new release to hide the feature until we were ready for it. Never a dull moment.
