Anyhooooo to the point 😆

You could do that, delete all your posts, then do J's tip & trick

Which is like giving Musk the "fuck you" twice 😆

And we all know X keeps your data, way past 12mths, after the account is not accessible by you.

Do they keep it forever ?

Who knows really

Even better question is - will deleting all your posts in the manner I say above actually delete your posts from X servers/back-up etc..... ❓

In theory 😝 anyway, yes, but again who knows really - it will wipe/delete your posts from public viewing thats for sure

There are several other services out there TweetEraser - TweetDeleter - Redact(Mac OS - windows - Linux app) Redact also works for Discord, Reddit and Facebook free version gives unlimited deletion of posts Reddit & Twitter & 30 days of posts from Facebook & Discord >>> all these services use the same strategy for deletion of posts - And last I checked these services still work which was a while back when X changed the API policy.

TweetDelete, one of the best known, is a web tool that lets you both delete your Twitter history and set a timer for the deletion of future tweets. The free version only deletes those most recent 3,200 tweets. The company does offer three paid plans: a Starter plan for $5.99 a month - and ideal for fully deleting your X account

How come?

Because individuals can only delete individual posts, and if you use a third-party app, Twitter will only allow it to delete the most recent 3,200 tweets. To get around that limitation, most deletion apps use your archive (or tell you how to use your archive) to identify all the older tweets you’ve amassed so they can get rid of them.

Best practice is to download your X archive data before deactivating the account that way you then permanently delete and wipe an account - which you need another service to do(unless you wanna delete all posts manually that is) - the main reason that you want to archive your tweets is that, if you have more than 3,200 tweets, you won’t be able to remove them without an archive.

Just so others know when you deactivate your X account it stays active for 30 days - giving you time to reactivate it if you want - if you don't reactivate it after 30 days the account gets "deleted" what this actually means is you can't access the account - X keeps all your data for "deleted" accounts for 12mths per their T&Cs

this week’s big news in the semiconductor industry is the ramp of Trainium. It’s a bit subtle, but I will walk you through the secondary impacts and then give you an idea.

Meanwhile:

The UK gov on Wednesday ordered a Chinese-owned holding company to sell its shares in a Scottish semiconductor business following a national security assessment

According to a government notice, the review has resulted in the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, the head of the Cabinet Office, to order this holding company to sell its 80.2% stake in FTDI “within a specified period and following a specified process.”

I'll say what most probably won't wanna

Let's not forget most of the Pro-Palestine people in the good lol' US of fuckin "A" woulda either voted independent or just not voted as a sign of protest against the Bidden administration and future administration

Its a factor in the clusterfuck

@Zevon @Lucyspartner

That & Advert policy 🥵 now all embedded videos show ads also - ive noticed on other sites that never used to happen all embedded videos used to be ad-free

@lisaannlm @Lucyspartner its actually a YouTube issue the YouTube URLs themselves dont get sanitized same as other URLs

@AnnetteTRemain @corlin yeah but if you switch to followers only via tge wee globe setting at bottom of txt input field you can stop others from seeing everything

Its only public & unlisted posts they'd see - followers only only users you follow can see they posts

So, you can still post stuff for all to see via your profile while locking certain posts down so only users you follow see them
