have you ever checked your firebase app indexing setting ?

on Android settings > Google account > scroll to bottom "firebase app indexing"

personally I open that and switch it OFF with all devices

have a wee gander also tap any Google app and then tap which ever items show

after switching off you can still go back every now and then and see what's going on

so, from my deductions

as far as i can tell NoScript is causing issues with the new "experimental privacy mode" feature

switching NoScript off allows the feature to work

having it on the feature does work but then requires a reload of CoSo and after that it is hit and miss wither it continues to work

issue is on ChromeOS CoSo PWA/tab with NoScript extension

firefox with NoScript enabled on mobile the feature worked for me

VPN leak testing

it will ask you to switch VPN of to get "your exact location" if you have "location" setting in browser to "block all" you won't have to "allow" location via browser

switch VPN off then click "continue" you'll see a wee X in address bar show < that is letting you know location is blocked

you'll be asked to select country via dropdown menu on proprivacy site test select your home country then switch VPN on again and continue test
