I still have recurring DON'T BLINK flashbacks in nightmares.
It was a brilliant concept- stone angels, the dark, blink, the horror!
those were the days, my friends. we thought they never ended.
they ended.
can't even watch doctor who anymore.

I've tried... So many times... Watched a couple of Cipaldi... But after Tennent and Smith.. it doesn't feel the same? The whole River Song secondary overlay was so good...
Whitaker and Gatwa.... Again a couple episodes to try... Just feels like the writers have lost something?
Sigh...
Peter Capaldi was robbed- those were THE WORST SCRIPTS EVER! If he had been given even a half good script- he could have been brilliant. I can't believe he stayed with it as long as he did.
sigh... i miss the doctor.

I'm a diehard whovian though lol I'll always see a + or at least look for one in episodes - sometimes it takes a few watches to "get it"
Cross reference with older episodes also sometimes makes the penny drop on what an episode is really about

I'm "dedicated" but not diehard. I watched the series from the early days. But I identified with the Doctors more than then the continuity of the series.
My favorites were Colin Baker, Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Christopher Eccleston, & David Tennant.
I also really enjoyed Sarah Jane Smith & Clara Oswald (the impossible girl)
