The Japanese legend of the red thread of fate is an ancient story that says people are connected by an invisible red string tied to their little fingers at birth. The other end of the thread is tied to someone they are destined to meet, regardless of time, place, or circumstance. The thread may stretch, bend, or tangle, but it will never break. Eventually, the threads will come together and the people will meet.
