@ecksmc switch to LibreWolf or Brave or something ;)
@matuzalem @ecksmc
I like Thorium? Or do they mean Chromium base as well?
@InvaderGzim @ecksmc the problem with Chrome is how much google uses it to snoop on you, but a lot of the chromium based browsers are securish
Most chromium based browser will move to the new extension manifest at some point - uBlock lite will still block stuff as will other ad blocking extensions - some have been limited in what they can actually do compared to what they used to do
Cromite is a good browser to use for privacy has loadsa good features and built in ad blockers using some good GitHub lists
I use several browsers myself Firefox focus, cromite, chrome, brave, and few others
@ecksmc @InvaderGzim Iridium, Safari, Librewolf, Linux-Brave through a FreeBSD jail. Also running any browser on a jail is good.
Starting with Google Chrome 127, there will be a warning for uBlock Origin (uBO) in your chrome://extensions/ page:
