#politics #olympics #Christian I heard Olympics insulted Christians and initially when looking up news thought this was true because many keep putting last supper directly under the act. I thought there was actually a banner of the last supper underneath them. It took me forever to find actual footage. There was no banner of last supper underneath. I've had art history and know Greek mythology. I had to fault media here with the uproar.

Olympics are from greek culture and tradition
French are deeply rooted in feasting and festivity

@ecksmc The media isn't showing the video. Well, it's hard to find. What they keep doing is posting a pic of the greek scene right above the last supper which almost looks like there was a float with the last supper banner underneath. I think this is all media spin trying to piss off Christians. More of the "they're coming for you" crap from the press.
@AnnetteTRemain actually it was because some on X were sharing that image and saying it was outrageous - along with some posting clips of opening ceremony
Then the Olympics started issuing X, and other sites, with "copyright" removal notices, DMCA notices, which became more outrage from the so-called Christians "they are trying to censor us" & "Olympics are trying to stop anyone sharing the video in a way to stop criticism"
@AnnetteTRemain Honestly Olympics shouldn't have said they were sorry for offending people that has just played into the numbnuts narrative that they were mocking Christians when it had nothing to do with Christians and the last super
They shoulda just ignored it all and released a statement saying what it was about
