When replying to a post here and you need more than 500 characters you can reply to the post then keep the thread going by replying to your own post(your 1st reply) and if you need to repeat(reply to your 2nd reply) & so on
It keeps the conversion flowing instead of having users jumping back and forth and trying to keep up
