It was only a matter of time, that's why using biometric signin not only is simply a way for companies to gather marketable information, but the very concept of it being better than passwords and 2 factor auth was an obvious attempt to distract from the invasion of privacy. It's illogical to think anything else but "someone will defeat it" just like with all signin security methods. Even an implant will be hackable, just watch. All security is hackable.
