to stop seeing /@Alfred posts go to the account and block him << that way you won't see any of Alfred's replies to others
then goto filters and set up filters for /@Alfred & Alfred << that way you won't see others asking Alfred stuff
(leave the / when setting-up filter)
oh that's leave OUT the / when setting-up filters

Ha! I was trying to think of a way of asking that nicely. I had thought I had seen it work without the "/" , and I want to give people the right guidance.
Personally I want to see anything Alfred says though. He just gets better and better :)

yeah i don't mind seeing his replies either or questions others ask actually can be educational at times and lead you down a wee rabbit hole or three
I wasn't sure if it might be some sort of escape code I had never heard of.
My hardest blocks here are for people who *have* bitten my head off over something like that ;)
So this is also the technique I use for them :)
