@ecksmc I know you're joking, but I'm glad something is going to get people out to vote in this election. That said, the idea that a celebrity can wield that much power, it kind of defines the potential for the Tyranny of the Majority that the founders feared.
No I'm not saying that Taylor Swift is the antichrist. I'm just saying there is always a potential for a cult of personality to go horribly wrong.

@ecksmc It is, but the republican party has kind of become the North Korean version of the Republican party... we live in a time of great absurdity.
And while I'm here, props to Taylor for using her star power that way. It's awfully classy to go about it that way.
