A complaint filed with the EU's independent data regulator accuses YouTube of failing to get explicit user permission for its ad blocker detection system, potentially violating the ePrivacy Directive

The script that #YouTube deploys is detecting what software people are running on their machines or what behaviour their browser is exhibiting in relation to their private activities It's not okay It's illegal
if for some reason it stops working
Go to Settings in Ublock (Open Dashboard) -> Filters list (second tab at the top)-> Purge all caches -> Update filters
1- In some cases it is necessary to clear your history, in order to delete cookies and cache from YT.
2- Quite possible this would need to be performed every now and then, whenever YT updates their detection functionality. It's and arms race at this point.
