The husband of former first minister Nicola Sturgeon has been arrested in connection with an investigation into Scottish National Party finances.,Peter Murrell, 58, is being questioned after being taken into police custody on Wednesday morning.
Police Scotland say Murrell ‘arrested as a suspect’ as officers search addresses thought to include his and Sturgeon’s home
now tell me i was wrong when i said Nicola was protecting her man while she was first minister
protecting gone(when Nicola stepped down) - then he "resigns" his position (in a hope it would all just be forgotten)
There is currently police activity at the couple's home in Glasgow and at SNP headquarters in Edinburgh.
seems the Sturgeon's knew this was coming Nicola has said this investigation was not part of the reason she stepped down ,😏 aye right

apparently he has been released now with a report being sent to the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service they ultimately decide if charges will be brought
2 days the police spent searching the house that's kinda unheard of unless it's a murder, suspicious death, case it's not like they live in a mansion

cause you'd think most evidence needed collecting would be electronic equipment hard drives, laptop etc.....
@ecksmc Apparently digging up portions of the garden too,house must've been overflowing with incriminating evidence.
