also Gary has contracts outside the BCC he is not a fully BBC employee a such BUT gov want him reprimanded for expressing an opinion on something he just doesn't report on and never has been a political reporter

Tory MP Lee Anderson wants Lineker sacked, along with others. Lee said this week he supported the right-wing protesters who set fire to a police van and rioted in Merseyside, which was broadcast without comment by the BBC.
The BBC is now simply the Tory Party Broadcast Service. Which we pay for.
