Here’s a quick tip for telling your Chrome browser to preserve your tab groups across sessions, even after a device restart!
this trick works on all operating systems and it’s pretty easy to do as well!
Just click the three dots “more” menu at the top right of your Chrome browser, go to Settings, Search Engine, and then under ‘On Startup’, change the radio box from ‘Open a New Tab page’ to ‘Continue where you left off’
That’s it
@ecksmc
Same in Firefox for those who use it.
@stueytheround yeah that setting is on firefox
that tip is more for "chrome groups" and how to keep the tabs you put into groups from vanishing after a restart
handy for when you are switching from say chromebook to windows/linux also
Just make sure that you do this for each profile on your Chromebook or each account that’s using Chrome Sync in the browser on your Windows, Mac, or Linux machine
