@Cr15ta83ll we all pity party from time 2 time just human nature but it how you react when your awareness kicks in
stay humble "We come nearest to the great when we are great in humility"
@ecksmc Good Morning Sir Eric , how is Scotland looking today?
@ecksmc its been a busy week. Saturday I made a Christmas Wreath #cosochristmas , Sunday was Christingle with The Rock Community and we now have 30 oranges sitting in the living room to be consumed (maybe marmalade). Yesterday was soggy so curled up with a book and haribo. Today is breakfast shift then Carol service (mulled wine duty). I will get Sunday off but working Christmas Eve
@Mauve_matelot @ecksmc 😞 so sorry you have to work Christmas eve... this is the 2nd Christmas eve my youngest has had off at her new job. Seize the moments!
@NightShade @ecksmc My boss asks for volunteers for 24 and 26 December, the business is closed on 25th. I have a good team with me and it's only 6 hours rather than the usual 8.
@Mauve_matelot @ecksmc That's cool! My girl had the same thing...they'd close early she was a stylist (one of the best, if I do say so) and they did likewise. It's nice if you have a choice, definitely.
@Mauve_matelot haribo 😋 lol
homemade marmalade also 😋
liking the crimbo stuff :) roll on Sunday then 😉
crimbo eve working sucks.......my birthday that day as well......can hear my mum now "some christmas present you were" 😆
Well said Eric. Just the fact that I’ve always had food, clothing and shelter makes me more fortunate than billions of people around the world. For so much of my life, I’ve taken my great good fortune for granted. Always live in gratitude.
@evamarie indeed some just don't realise how lucky they are and really never will
no awareness of others
@ecksmc So very true. What I say to myself when I start a pity-party. I'm lucky in many ways.
