Just finished reading this: https://lyz.substack.com/p/where-does-all-the-rage-go-now/
It made me think about how when I get angry, it is so often a sudden firestorm of rage, even when I know it's disproportionate to what set me off. There are subjects I avoid like the plague because I know I will howl like a wolf and set everything on fire. I'm not a woman (I'm nonbinary), but I was raised as one and am perceived (and therefore generally treated) as one. This really resonated.

Thought I had a rage problem. Learned through therapy what I had was a fear problem. Now I can recognize the signs and ask myself the right question—what am I afraid of? Before launching into a tirade.
