This drought/firework situation has me terrified. I literally have all my important docs packed in my purse in case I need to exit. And that's if such a need arises when I'm awake. If I'm asleep, I might just have to get the fuck out with must myself. How can people just not care about their neighbors' houses? I will never fucking understand.

@dreandmax my family was going to do fireworks a couple days early, but the wind was blowing and caused a couple to hit a tree or land in someone else's yard or something, so we stopped because, you know, we don't want to catch other people's stuff on fire. But some people just... don't care/think about others apparently.

@e_is_reading See. That's just sensible. If it was raining or even if it had recently rained I wouldn't get as upset because there would be much less danger to homes. But we have drought conditions and it's going to be especially hot and dry today through the end of the week. I just wish people would use common sense.
