Took me an hour to thaw out when I got home thank goodness for tomato and roasted pepper soup and a toasted cheese sandwich... that being said have a wonderful night

So I took my very first Uber tonight The first driver never showed up an hour later so I canceled the ride the second driver finally showed up her Blues Bros car was bomb ass, cool lights inside the whole shit and kaboodle and the outside was splattered with all kinds of different color paint done by her kids she had a tablet in the backseat for her riders to use she played a little game that you could win prizes with.. yeah that earned a tip from me...

@Tattoomonkey29 You mean they're not using them there already?! Geez, masks in my former doctors' office were being used since early October. And the sanitizing stations and masking up was mandatory in the hospital, no exceptions.

Since covid took hold in early 2020 here, i've only been sick twice--once with a sinus cold, and i had a "normal" cold too. I've had more issues with my hypothyroidism than colds!

@Tattoomonkey29 @Christmas_Snow I never had a problem with a mask and I work in coolers now so like I said the other reason and probably the biggest reason in all honesty is it helps keep me a little bit warmer with it on

@duglop Yup, they work! Whenever i was on the bus this week i wore my own, and at the hospital earlier this week i was in a small room filled with masked people (hospital policy) who were coughing & hacking--and i'm perfectly fine. Always said i'd continue to wear them (covid or not) during cold season after i saw how healthy i stayed while wearing them the last few yrs. It just makes sense!

Say or think what you will, but I wear masks at work for 2 reasons... 1 because I don't want what someone else might have nor do I wanna spread something to the next person & 2 since I work in coolers now they help keep me warmer...
On another note, I heard a number of people have contracted Covid at work the past few days...

As I was walking down to catch the bus to work today I saw something that really warmed my heart. Usually they put scarves hats and gloves in conspicuous places for the homeless community to gather for the winter. Well this year I see they have jackets hanging around downtown and some of them look quite warm and quite expensive so nice touch Rockford nice touch...
