I've been on the hunt for a good mystery book for a while. Into the Woods by Tana French was okay for what it was, but I need something else

@duckysoba what makes a ‘good’ mystery for you? Domestic drama? International shenanigans? Gritty dark or polished?

@Silea Gritty dark tends to have me in a vice grip. Honestly anything with an engaging storyline and cast of characters usually has me sold. Into the Woods wasn't terrible, the prose/pacing/& plot weren't my cup of tea. Had my brain disengaged.
