Came home to trucks all over our street and no parking signs. They are finally going to rewire the street lights that have not worked properly they are putting in a new light standard beside our house and will have to trench on our lawn to lay the wire.

Apparently he has to reply in a couple of hours to the request to prove his bond is real.

The B.C. government and the Council of Haida Nation have signed an agreement officially recognizing Haida Gwaii’s Aboriginal title, more than two decades after the nation launched a legal action seeking formal recognition.

“Rising Tide” title agreement is a “first-of-its-kind” deal negotiated between the government and the nation, shifting “ownership and jurisdiction of land from the Crown to the Haida Nation in
Crown law.”
