Welcome to coso.
This is a good thing.
I always read Frum he has been so honest most of the time and analytical. He is taking his stand now and I respect him for that.
Conservative author David Frum announced Wednesday that he has left the Republican Party following President-elect Trumpβs victory in the 2024 presidential election.
βDe-registered as a Republican today,β Frum, a staff writer at The Atlantic, .
Frum, a former speechwriter for then-President George W. Bush, has held on to his party affiliation even as he has become a vocal critic of the former president and his influence on the Republican Party since the 2016 election
#real life
I know I am always a grandma but it is my life.
Today I watched my grandson (13) get the first goal in his tournament game. Watched on a different app than normal for tournaments only and they broadcasted the game live so I got to hear them say his name a lot.
I was getting that going down a roller coaster feeling in my tummy when ever they said his name.
@bluesbaby you asked about broadcast earlier
@daniel @Zevon

Fighting them every day
At lunch at the pub yesterday there were two couples next to us. One lady was saying Only Men Should be Leaders..and this is in Canada.
My hubby said when she said that he could see fire in my eyes and was prepared to hold me back.
I remember a few who parked too close to the water (which has a tide because of the size of the lake) and couldn't get out again. I recall a grey corvette the guys could not push it out.
Well said Min, well said!
