BCE Inc. is selling off 45 of its 103 regional radio stations as it cuts nine per cent of its workforce, including journalists and other workers at its Bell Media subsidiary.

The affected stations are in British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic Canada.

The company announced Thursday in an open letter signed by chief executive Mirko Bibic that 4,800 jobs β€œat all levels of the company” would be cut.

Honda has issued a recall for 66,846 vehicles in Canada due to possible complications with airbag sensors in front passenger seats.

The recall involves the Honda Accord, Civic, CR-V, Fit, HR-V, Insight, Odyssey, Pilot, Passport and Ridgeline, as well as the Acura MDX, RDX and TLX. The model years are between 2020 and 2022.

Environment Canada issued a special air quality statement, advising stagnant winter weather is creating elevated pollution levels.
