Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre said he is against the use of puberty blockers for transgender minors, arguing that children should be able to βmake adult decisions when they become adults.β
He made the comment during a press conference on Parliament Hill on Wednesday after facing three consecutive days of questions from reporters on where he stands on Alberta Premier Danielle Smithβs recently announced policies on childrenβs trans and sex-ed issues.
This is a movement with conservatives going on...the next thing will be abortion imho
It'll be a bigger disaster for them in Canada than it's been for Refumblicans in the US.
You got that right this will be an election issue again and again.
@disk4mat More transphobic cons, what a surprise?!?!

IMO, heβs touting the party line set forth by the man behind the curtain.
@disk4mat But...but..... the adult decision of forcing a 12 year old child to keep a baby-by-rape?

hypocrites aren't they!
@disk4mat
Technically, puberty is when a person "becomes an adult", biologically, anyway.
Pierre Polievre, whose mind never got beyond the age of six, wouldn't get this.
