My 11 year old grandson did a fund raising by skating around the Olympic oval yesterday.
The speed skating track is 400 metres and he had 25 min to finish.
Kid skated 8000 metres or 8 km in 25 min.
Impressive to me!

I know he is fast from hockey but that really puts it into perspective.
I am very proud of him I am goiing to share that with my son now.

Your 11 year old is already almost half the speed of experienced adult professional athletes!
