Democrats have a math problem. Republicans only need to flip two Senate seats for the majority, which would either bolster a President Donald Trump or block the agenda of a President Kamala Harris.
This math problem is also a demographic one. Democrats’ declining standing among working-class White voters puts states like Ohio and Montana increasingly out of reach.

@disk4mat I hope my fellow Montanans realize that Tester is definitely the best choice for Senate again.

@JasonStiff

I have seen Tester interviewed many times and he seems like you said the best choice for the senate again.

🤞

@disk4mat Absolutely... and to be a Democrat from Montana... especially rural Montana... is remarkable.

@disk4mat Ohio is in the Rust Belt. They're still pissed off about jobs that were lost 50 years ago. Jobs that never returned.

@disk4mat They've NEVER let it go. Now, they're blaming immigrants for their inability to find "real jobs" like their ancestors had in the factories. Those jobs were gone during the Nixon and Ford administrations.

@Iveyjanette1

Sad people have to blame others.

Some things never change for some.

@disk4mat And that blame and hatred is passed down from generation to generation.
